5 Classic Cars We Love

1968 Dodge Charger R/T

1968 Dodge Charger RT

I found this beauty on display several years ago at Pebble Beach and immediately thought back to the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard. This one isn’t an exact replica with the black vinyl top but it’s still a classic muscle car from that era. Millions of American enjoyed drag racing on city streets back in the day, and this is one of the cars you’d see out there. These cars have become collectors’ items and have inspired the Big Three to produce retro styles that bring back this era of muscle cars that so many Americans love.

Dodge cause some controversy when it reintroduced the Charger as a 4-door, but with the introduction of the retro-styled Dodge Challenger it made plenty of fans happy. This modern muscle car with the old-school styling is available with the Enterprise Exotic Car Collection as well and would be perfect for cruising on a summer day.

1961 Ferrari 250 GTO

Our family immigrated to America from Italy, so my father loved everything Italian, though you don’t have to be an Italian to love a Ferrari. The 1961 Ferrari 250 GTO is one of the most famous Ferraris and was known for its performance on the track. It’s incredibly popular with collectors so this particular Ferrari wasn’t attainable by the average guy, but it’s a thing of beauty that all car-lovers can admire.

Of course, every Ferrari is a thing of beauty as it remains one of the elite brands in the world. You can enjoy the beauty and awesome power of a Ferrari by driving the Ferrari California available with the Enterprise Exotic Car Collection or other exotic sports cars like the Porsche Caymen.
