Behind the Scenes at the GT Academy finals

UPDATE: We’ve been told that the GT Academy winner has been crowned. Congratulations to Bryan Heitkotter – who was actually the top qualifier at Orlando as well – as he begins his training for the real deal. The show won’t air until September, but you can see Bryan’s Meet the Finalists video at nissanusa.com.

Back in March we had the chance to head to the GT Academy qualifiers – a tournament held to lower a field of 32 of the world’s best virtual drivers down to the 16 that would head to Silverstone and onto the GT Academy reality show. That show is now underway, with contestants competing in live racing events, all hoping to win the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to become a real pro driver on a Nissan racing team.

The series won’t air until the fall, but in the meantime, Nissan and Sony are offering some behind the scenes sneak peeks of what the competition is like for the 16 contestants. There is the usual picture and video content, but the pro drivers on hand at Silverstone have also been answering questions from the GT Academy Facebook page. Vaseline Men – Product Review

Vaseline MEN was kind enough to send us some samples at Bullz-Eye and we must say they are on to something here! Vaseline MEN is no greasy body and face lotion that is made for us guys. We tested the Vaseline MEN Fast Absorbing Body and Face Lotion in a large 24.5oz pump blue container and will run you around $5 or $6. Most us don’t realize that men’s skin is thicker and more oily than women’s so Vaseline produced the Men’s line for men’s unique skin needs. I noticed that Vaseline Men’s is fast absorbing, non-greasy and doesn’t have you walking away with some flowery scent. Alot of guys stay away from lotion because of the greasy feel afterwards but you can “get moisturized” without the slippery feeling with Vaseline Men Fast Absorbing Body & Face Lotion.

RealFlex: Reebok’s natural movement runner

Reebok has been on a roll lately with recent entries into the sportingwear market like the huge hits of EasyTone and ZigTech shoe lines. While most companies would sit back and enjoy these successes Reebok chose to expand their formidible lines even further with the RealFlex footwear.

The RealFlex technology is inspired by the barefoot/natural/minimalist running movement that is recognized nationally and is becoming the hottest technology in the running world. Bullz-Eye is heading to Las Vegas for a behind the scenes experience at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino and New York New York Hotel and Casino

When our friends at NMS told us they were hosting a review event at two of MGM’s properties: New York-New York Hotel and Casino and Monte Carlo Resort and Casino from June 10 – 12, 2011 (which is just in time to kickoff the summer with some pool time and fun in the Vegas sun) and invited Bullz-Eye to join them we were all in!

This visit will introduce and provide Bullz-Eye with an in-depth look at all these properties have to offer to their guests this summer. We’ve been to the New York-New York Hotel and Casino and Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in the past and we know there are many property highlights so we were particularly interested in some of events they have planned during the upcoming trip. We will be conducting tours of both properties, nightly dinners and drinks at the properties’ various high-quality restaurants, attending both properties entertainment, and setting aside time at a private cabana at the Monte Carlo pool and spa area on Saturday.

Word is MGM properties will give Bullz-Eye the most comprehensive experience possible like arranging dinners at Nine Fine Irishmen (where the chef will be coming out to meet with Bullz-Eye and the group) and the AAA 4-Diamond Andre’s Restaurant and Lounge. Further, we’ll be hitting up a number of fun hot-spots at night, such as Brand Steakhouse, Minus5 Ice Bar, and ROK Vegas. We’ll also be attending shows at both properties, specifically the super hot Jabbawockeez and the incredible Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity! The “Exclusive” Monte Carlo Resort and Casino and “Dynamic” New York New York Hotel and Casino are in the heart of the Las Vegas strip and are quickly becoming the “hot spots” for those looking for an upscale experience with competitive pricing.
