The Oscars got plenty of buzz as usual last night with “Birdman” taking top honors. Of course the red carpet got just as much attention, which isn’t surprising when you see photos like this of the stunning Margot Robbie and the elegant and beautiful Emma Stone.
Both were wearing some impressive gold jewelry, with presenter Margot Robbie looking amazing in vintage gold Van Cleef & Arpels “Zip Antique Colombine” necklace featuring diamonds and sapphires set in 18K yellow gold.

Jan Hooks passed away today. She was part of one of the best SNL casts in history from 1986 to 1991 and was funny as hell. Here she stars with Phil Hartman, Chris Rock, Mike Myers, Victoria Jackson and Sting in the classic “Sinatra Group” sketch. Hooks plays Sinead O’Connor, who Frank refers to as Sinbad, cue-ball and Uncle Fester throughout the skit. RIP Jan . . .
A hot babe can turn into a damsel in distress at a moment’s notice. On the way to a private screening of the newest X-Men movie, Melissa McCarty’s luxury automobile broke down. In true Hot Babe fashion, she ditched her vehicle and went to the premiere.
Originally an award-winning broadcast journalist for KCBS in Los Angeles, she has had roles in television shows like Chuck, Lie to Me, Big Love, and The Middlemen. McCarty currently hosts the show Newsbreaker on Larry King’s Ora TV.
I spoke to Melissa the day after her harrowing car incident, as she borrowed some “Jane Fonda” clothes from a friend while she waited to meet with the tow truck driver.
Inspired by the release of the new “Captain America” movie this weekend, we have a beautiful photograph of actress and model Audra Van Hees sporting a lovely stars & stripes swimsuit.
Audra is an actress and model based in New York City. You may have seen her in the pages of GQ Italy and Maxim, as well as in the film “A Guy Named Rick.” You can also look for her in the thriller “Muck” which is set to be released this summer. She is currently working on two more films, and was just featured at the Fashion 2.0 Awards as the award presenter.
