Review: L’Oréal Professionnel Homme Mat and Homme Clay

With more and more men using grooming products these days why not go for the good stuff and look your best? Most of us don’t want to spend alot of time getting the look we want to achieve and that really holds true when it comes to hairstyling. We leave the long preperation to our opposite sex honeys!

Bullz-Eye.com tested L’Oréal Professionnel Homme Mat which is a sculpting pomade (a fancy word for a greasy or waxy substance) and L’Oréal Professionnel Homme Clay which is a really strong hold clay! Keep in mind that our goal was to get an effortlessly cool look with lasting results. We tried Mat on wet and dry hair and all it took was rubbing a small amount bewteen your hands then working it through your hair for the desired look you want to obtain. I went with a more groomed look and I must say mat kept my hair in check and lasted all day and evening long. I changed things up with Clay and went for a messy look working it into dry hair. I ended up with a very strong hold and an intense matte finish and the look I was aiming for.

Bottom line here is with both L’Oréal Professionnel Homme Mat and Clay my hair did exactly what I wanted it to do and they both held up on some very windy days in the midwest by lake erie! Both products sell for approximately $18.00.

Product Review: Adidas “Moves Pulse” for Men

I recently recieved a sample of the new Adidas fragrance for men called “Moves Pulse.” ‘What a package!’ was my first reaction when I opened the box. The look is edgy with a kinetic bottle design and crystal clear glass that shows the red tint of the goods inside.

I have been wearing “Moves Pulse” for quite a few days now and I must say it has a scent that isn’t overpowering but more of an easy confidence for those who strive to be their best. I feel Adidas has produced a men’s fragrance in “Moves Pulse” that fits those men who live a modern and fast paced lifestyle where fitness and health is a top priority. If you decide to go with “Moves Pulse” you won’t have to break the bank to feel and smell your best.

For all of those who want to express their creative talents, go to http://www.pulsefragrance.com/ and enter for a chance to win 15k for your school or 1k in gear. Hey, if that doesn’t pertain to you maybe send the info to friend.

Review: 100 percent natural Rocky Mountain Soap

We recently received a package of products from RockyMountainSoap and were anxious to try out these 100% all natural items. When I first opened the package from RockyMountainSoap the great natural scent jumped out and really made alot of the house smell good (maybe they should look at candles or room deodorizers as well?). Needless to say, before trying out any of the men’s products they sent over, they made a good first impression.

I started with the shave bar. I must say, it was the first time I shaved without starting with some type of cream. The bar makes a rich lather that is unscented and really gave me a smooth shave with no complaints. It was something new and I liked the way the shave bar worked. Next I tried the Men’s Body Wash, which has a guys scent for certain, and helped wake me up with the clary sage oil, coconut oil, and lemon essential oil. Together the make up of the men’s body wash left me feeling clean and refreshed to go out and tackle the world! I’m feeling good at this time and decided to make a RockyMountainSoap day so I applied the Men’s Stuff Deodorant, which also gets to the point and flat out works. The Deodorant is made of natural crystal and had me feeling dry, confident and odor free all day long!

The next few products I tried were in some ways new and also very diffucult to keep away from my bride! I am one to use lotion after exiting the shower so when I tried the Men’s Hand Butter, I wasn’t expecting much, but the way it moisturizes you hands is very effective (I already knew it worked because my bride told me so!). Next was something I have never used but my bride (she’s a babe by the way!) assured me she has never seen anything work that good on her feet and she was using it daily. She told me to try it to see what I thought. The Men’s Foot Butter, my goodness, I can see why it’s RockyMountainSoaps #1 product! My feet don’t get overly dry but this product made them feel like the dryness was gone for good. If you suffer from dry and cracked skin on your feet and especially if you spend hours a day on your feet at work , home or in the gym try this stuff now! You can read all about the all natural products that RockyMountainSoap.com offers and what makes a great product better and healthier for yourself. When you go purchase on their website and check prices and you’ll see RockyMountainSoap priced their products very competively.

There are a few more products I want to test and when I’ve had the chance I’ll give everyone the low down on those as well. In the meantime, if you are shopping for yourself or for the lady in your life remember, www.rockymountainsoap.com has plenty of products for both men and women.

Gillette announces the ProGlide Ultimate Summer Job Bullz-Eye.com contest winner!

Gillette sent Jason and Adam around the country this summer to promote the new Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor and hear what the country has to say about getting the perfect shave. Bullz-Eye partnered up with them to offer an iPod Touch & a Gillette Fusion ProGlide VIP kit to the contestant with the most compelling idea of the perfect shave.

There were a lot of excellent entries including this one from Frank Kramerman:

The best shave ever…hmmm…on the banks of a crystal clear warm water spring…Betty White approaches carrying a brand new Fusion Pro-Glide razor anjd a can of shaving cream on a pillow and gently sits down beside me as I foam up and magically stroke the whiskers away while gazing at my and her reflection in the water.

We also appreciated Jeremy MacFarline’s contribution:

The best shave ever would involve sitting in an old-timey barber’s chair, slightly reclined, and it would be delivered by Salma Hayek in something low-cut and with lots of leaning over. There is lots of “accidental” boob-shoulder contact and the Gillette Fusion ProGlide gripped gently between her deft fingers leaves my sideburns even, the edge of my goatee straight and clean, and my cheeks smooth as a baby’s bottom and glistening like a glazed donut.

In the end, though, the winner was someone with a more traditional idea of the perfect shave. To hear his entry, head over to the official Gillette Ultimate Summer Job blog, where Jason and Adam have put together a congratulations video. Thanks to everyone that participated – you guys put together some great entries.

Product review: Bluebeard’s Revenge

Ever wonder what it would be like if your facial hair stopped growing or maybe just slowed down a bit so those tough shaves were a part of the past? I had not thought about either of the two but now with Bluebeard’s Revenge shaving cream it could become reality for many of you “real men” out there!

Isn’t it cool that products like “shaving cream” are developing and specializing to niche clientele? I received a can of Bluebeard’s Revenge and I must say it is the most awesome packaging I’ve ever seen for shaving cream. I mean we are talking a skull and cross bones here my friends. When applying the shaving cream I noticed a subtle soapy smell that made me feel like I was cleaning my face as well. It was easy to apply and the shaves I experienced were smooth and clean. The big claim by Bluebeard’s Revenge is after a month of steady use your beard will slow it’s growth because of a novel topical compound called Decelerine in the shaving cream. I’m not here to tell you whether or not that claim is true but I feel the smooth shave alone is enough to support this product.
