Bullz-Eye capped off our June Vegas trip with a full schedule of food, fun and entertainment at the Monte Carlo Las Vegas Resort and Casino. After touring and enjoying the amenities at neighboring New York New York we were whisked into the elegant and happening Monte Carlo main entrance where we were welcomed by the most hip marketing team we have met in Vegas! Our group of online Men's Magazine types were prepared for a comfortable stay at the Monte Carlo when we quickly learned we would be staying in Hotel32 which is provides not only fabulous rooms but the total VIP treatment. No standard front desk check in here at things are different at Hotel32 as your personal suite assistant takes care of those things here my friends. After a tour of the Hotel32 rooms with our marketing amigos (and some complimentary chocolate treats in the Hotel32 lounge) we were off to the Monte Carlo Pub which was truly one of my favorites spots of my Vegas weekend. The Pub is huge with very high ceilings, great food, incredible beer selection, duleing pianos, live music and sports! Yes, the pub is has everything a guy could need so maybe they should rename it "Pub Heaven" because the place is that lofty. The breaded calamari were right on target and the blue moon beer tower kept the beer flowing.

Even though the temperature in Las Vegas was closing in on 100 degrees we were heading into Minus5 in the Monte Carlo where things were going to go cold very quickly. Minus5 was created in New Zealand and is basically an ice bar where you can witness frozen ice sculptures from mount rushmore to the Minus5 logo. Remember that everything inside Minus5 is made of ice including the seats, the walls, the bar and the glasses that your drinks are poured into! We wore eskimo coats and gloves and we all agreed that Minus5 is one of those original places you have to visit when in Vegas. Minus 5After a great time at Minus5 we had time to clean up and get ready for a fabulous dinner at Andre's. When walking back to the Hotel32 elevator I realized how comfortable I was at the Monte Carlo since my visit last year. Although the Monte Carlo is far from home I realized coming back here was essentially visiting a place a where I knew my way around where the familiar surroundings were welcoming.

The Bull is now cleaned up and in a sport coat for a 5 star dining experience at Andre's which is Las Vegas' most awarded and honored Restaurant located right in the Monte Carlo. Celebrity Chef André Rochat greeted our group when we entered the restaurant and soon after the wine and gourmet food started arriving. Andre's is a luxurious and modern establishment with service that you seldom find anymore and believe me when I tell you that it didn't go unnoticed!

Dinner at Andre's.

I really don't remember how many courses we actually had but some of the most memorable dishes were the SUMMER TRUFFLE RISOTTO which was out of this world and for the main course we devoured the MAINE LOBSTER THERMIDOR! The vino was precise and the red being served was from Andre's signature collection. Salute! Dessert was also magnificant as we artfully consumed the creme de brule. Andre also delivered on some amazing cognac as provided a guided tour of the wine and cognac collection upstairs. I actually stood in front of a bottle of wine from 1777 and that sent chills down my spine. Andre's is the place to take your special lady to celebrate life, spirits and fine cuisine! We were then whisked off to the wildly popular Jabbawockeez which I had the chance to see last year for the premier. I was excited to see the show again and as I suspected it was a full house. The show was eneteratining and refined a bit from the first time I saw Jabbawockeez. Afterward we met with the performers and they appeared to love what they're doing and focused on getting better. Just like last year this is one down to earth group of guys who are alot of fun and have a very bright future. At this point it was off to the Brand Steakhouse and Lounge in the heart of Monte Carlo for some post show beverages. Brand has an upscale and hip feel with soft lighting and very stylish couches and chairs. Brand overlooks the casino floor and is one of the best people watching spots in Vegas. We spent considerable time here on saturday night and the highlight was when a few of the guys from Jabbawockeez started dancing by their table as people stopped to watch from the casino as they owned that unscripted moment.

On sunday morning we unwinded at the Monte Carlo Pool in a cabana right in the middle of the pool area. Palm trees, huge wave pool, lazy river, pumping music and a huge sand volleyball court made this a great place enjoy the Vegas heat. With four pools there is always room to get wet even when everyone is rushing to cool off and the poolside food was tasty. The cabana was liek having a private retreat loaded with luxuries like teak lounge chairs, flat screen tv's and a dedicated attendant. The drinks were cold and the views were spectacular.

As you can tell we really like visiting the Monte Carlo and Hotel32 as there is something special going on here. When you get to know the folkswho operate a joint like we have at the Monte Carlo you understand the passion and dedication to being the best they can be as that resonates into their property at Monte Carlo.
