Has the Johnny Football era begun in Cleveland?

We knew this would probably happen at some point, though Brian Hoyer had made things difficult for Johnny Football fans by playing well and leading the Browns to a rare winning record. Just a month ago Hoyer led the Browns to a thrashing of the Cincinnati Bengals on national television prompting pundits like Deion Sanders to proclaim that the Browns should “pay the man.”

Things have changed. Brian Hoyer has struggled over the past several games tossing one touchdown pass against five interceptions. Then today against the Buffalo Bills the Browns only had three points after three quarters, and after Hoyer’s second interception head coach Mike Pettine decided to turn to Johnny Manziel.
