Meagan Good definitely caught our attention this past year and you can see her now in theaters starring in “Think Like a Man,” which has earned over $80 million so far at the box office. Meagan was also one of the bright spots in an uneven Season 5 of “Californication,” and while they had her in a bikini as you can see in the slideshow above, we were very disappointed that this Showtime program known for its R-rated scenes involving beautiful women didn’t have Meagan reveal more of her amazing body.

Meagan loves to show off her figure in low-cut dresses on the red carpet as you can see in this other sexy slideshow, but unfortunately that’s as far as she’s gone so far. If she wouldn’t take it all off in “Californication” we probably shouldn’t hold our breath waiting on this one, but hopefully we’ll see this talented actress in more projects in the future. If you like badass babes, you’re going to love Gina Carano. She’s a Strikeforce MMA fighter and she’s starring in “Haywire” which opened this weekend. ABC announced that it is pulling the plug on “Charlie’s Angels” after just 4 aired episodes. The ratings were bad and the reviews were even worse, so I guess this isn’t a surprise. Our own Will Harris explained in his Fall TV Preview that this show was a tough one to predict in terms of potential success. The producers definitely decided to play this one straight, without the campy feel of other reboots. In the end it just didn’t work.

As we all know, the show had its share of eye candy with Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor. When Will spoke with Annie, she seemed very excited about the show and its prospects, explaining how the casting process took months. It’s hard to argue with the casting, though the original was carried by a blonde bombshell, and perhaps following that formula would have generated more buzz.

In the end, however, the writing and execution didn’t seem to excite fans, so we have another show biting the dust following the cancellation of “The Playboy Club.” Perhaps these shows with eye candy should be on cable . . .

NBC announced today that “The Playboy Club” has been cancelled after only three episodes. It’s not a surprise given the anemic ratings so far.

The show wasn’t great, but it was beautifully shot, and Amber Heard was simply stunning as Maureen, the young Bunny caught up in the murder storyline. As you can see from the photos above, Heard looked like the perfect Bunny, particularly in the red costume, and her acting was solid as well. All of the Bunnies were beautiful as you might expect, but Heard jumped off the screen. She has a great career ahead of her, and you can see her on the big screen in October in “The Rum Diary.”
