"Kung Fu" was never a feature film, so that lets it out of competition. "Men in Black" and "Back to the Future" were both considered, but it's been ages since I've seen either of them, so they didn't make the cut. As far as "Planet of the Apes," though, you can call that one the honorary #16, as our man Ross Ruediger assured me that he would've been glad to write it up if it had made the list. But I must admit that I didn't even know "Mortal Kombat: Conquest" existed, but you can blame that on my not having followed the game, let alone the films it inspired.

Anyone here remember the Men In Black cartoon? I recall thinking it compared favorably with "The Real Ghostbusters", with intelligent storylines and fidelity to the original characters. Like TRG, it also went heavy on the catch-phrases and kid-friendly creatures, but when the focus was on Jay and Kay it was sharp stuff.
